FHP is currently investigating the collision to determine who was at fault.
When Should You Contact a Wrongful Death Lawyer?
Many people in Zephyrhills and throughout Pasco County ride a bicycle for transportation or exercise. While Florida’s year-round warm climate makes bike riding a common activity, this does not mean that drivers always operate their vehicles safely around bicyclists. Sadly, bicycle accidents are a common occurrence in Pasco County, and many times these collisions cause fatal injuries.
When you lose a loved one due to someone else’s negligent actions, the rage and sadness you are feeling may leave you at a loss for how to move on. While the grieving process is painful, as a survivor, you are entitled to find out what happened and who is responsible.
A Zephyrhills Wrongful Death Attorney can assess your case and make sure you understand your options regarding a wrongful death claim. While a wrongful death suit cannot bring your loved one back, there are still many reasons to file a claim following a fatal bicycle accident. A successful wrongful death claim can provide your family with the financial relief needed to cover the costs that come along with losing someone close to you.
Just as significant, however, is that a wrongful death lawsuit can offer you a sense of peace by knowing the negligent individual who caused the accident is held liable. Wrongful death claims hold those responsible for a tragic accident accountable for their actions, which can help prevent similar accidents from occurring in the future.
