Pasco County DUI Accident Victim Lawyer: DUI Suspected in Three Car Accident in Wesley Chapel
Six people were airlifted to hospitals on Wednesday morning after a man suspected of DUI charges crashed into two cars stopped in the outside lane of I-75 in Wesley Chapel. The occupants of the two vehicles were attempting to change a flat tire.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, one of the cars in the outside lane had a flat tire, and both had activated emergency flashers.
A 47-year-old Wesley Chapel man was driving in the outside lane but failed to maintain control of his vehicle as he attempted to change lanes. He crashed into the rear car, colliding with the other vehicle.

The pedestrians standing between and around the stopped vehicles were hit by the vehicles. A total of six people suffered injuries of varying degrees.
Three were taken by helicopter to Tampa General Hospital, and another three were flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Authorities arrested a Wesley Chapel man for felony DUI charges and serious bodily injury after he registered a BAC of 0.10. Authorities charged him with driving with a suspended license, failing to stay in a designated lane, and violating business-only restrictions.
